We are seeking an experienced web developer to support and enhance our eCommerce platform at Cricket Merchant, a leading online retailer specializing in cricket equipment and apparel.

Our business operates on Odoo Enterprise ERP, and we are looking for someone with strong expertise in both modern website development and Odoo integration/customization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will help improve the performance, functionality, user experience, and backend integration of our existing website while ensuring seamless synchronization with Odoo Enterprise ERP.

This role may include ongoing development, optimization, troubleshooting, and feature expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize our eCommerce website
  • Customize and enhance Odoo Enterprise modules and integrations
  • Improve website speed, responsiveness, and SEO performance
  • Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, and third-party tools
  • Support inventory, order management, and ERP workflows
  • Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues across frontend and backend systems
  • Implement UI/UX improvements to increase conversion rates
  • Ensure website security, scalability, and mobile compatibility
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on feature requests and updates

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with Odoo Enterprise ERP
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Python
    • PostgreSQL
    • JavaScript
    • HTML/CSS
    • XML/QWeb
  • Experience with Odoo website and eCommerce modules
  • Familiarity with API integrations and ERP workflows
  • Experience optimizing high-traffic eCommerce websites
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with retail or sporting goods eCommerce
  • Familiarity with inventory and warehouse management systems
  • UI/UX design experience
  • Experience with cloud hosting, deployment, and server management
  • Previous long-term Odoo customization projects
